New Market, Aug 3 - Sarah Belle Servies, 83, former local resident died Monday morning at 7 o'clock at Indianapolis. Death resulted from complications after an illness of six months. She was born Sept 8, 1858 in Ohio, the daughter of William M. and Ellen Slayback Howard. She was married to Henry D. Servies Sept 17,. 1875. Mr. Servies preceded his wife in Death several years ago. Surviving are three sons: Ernest and Charles of Indianapolis and Walter of Chicago; one daughter, Mrs. Cora Wyott (sic) of California; 11 grandchildren. Two daughters, one brother and three sisters preceded Mrs. Servies in death. The remains will be brought to the Reeves Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock where friends may call. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist Church in New Market. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. -- kbz
